jsidhu762: I was confused because sometimes games trade realism for mechanics.
Personally, I would prefer it if this game did more such trades. Specifically, there are many annoyances that result from favoring realism over playability; two that I can think of are the "must gather your party before venturing forth" rule and the rule against trading between characters who are far apart. (I also wish that dead characters wouldn't drop their equipment when they die; as is, when somebody dies and is revived, you have to do some annoying inventory management to get the character's inventory back to what it was before, and what if you don't remember?)
