So I just bought this game, and some wires in my brain got crossed and I made my character in Throne of Bhaal first.

I realized I could export this character and import him back into SoA, and basically have a stronger starting character.

Is there any downfall to doing this, aside from the game now being a cakewalk?

I can't find anything else online that talks about doing this, so I'm asking you guys!

No, but the challenge will be lost a bit. Also you'll probably level very slowly in the beginning because of your high level, which removes some gratification from the game.

To be honest, I love the character creation system in this game so much, that it's just more fun making someone of a higher level. Haha.

One of the best parts of this game is the struggle to beat some of the more difficult enemies (which can even be relatively early on) . I personally would recommend you restart, even if it is a lot easier to play the game this way. As others have said there is no consequence in game for you starting at a higher level.

I am with GeoGuy, reroll the character. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. I mean, I can hop on ShadowKeeper and max out all my stats and give my character 1000hp, but I don't.
