I just bought and installed my copy of Baldur's Gate 2 and I'm trying to make my character but every time I finally get to the naming portion, the number 5 just starts repeating over and over again as if someone is holding down the 5 key, it's not my keyboards fault, I unplugged it and the problem still occurred. This also happens when I go to name save files in Planescape: Torment and it just started recently, any ideas on what it might be and any solutions would be much appreciated

So it's not a wireless keyboard then?

I've seen this reported a few times. If you're on Win7 make sure your game is not installed in Programs or Programs(x86). Install outside either of those locations.

Run the game as admin.
