Is there not some way to simply apply the patch without downloading ALL the offline installer?

My SSD had some 42gb free and the patch clearly shows 600mb in the offline installer.. if GoG is gonna need THIS much space it needs to have a setting to have the patch files downloaded to another drive, not everyone has an SSD with 100+ gigs of space layin' around.

Or, better yet, just make the patch files able to be run standalone. That'd solve it all right there, easy peasy. I keep getting a "error due to heavy load" when trying to update, but some seem to be saying it's disk space.. I don't want to have to constantly clear enough space for the entire game just for a 600mb patch, especially when I have another, non-SSD drive with 500gb free.
The update is only 1 exe file and 1 .bin file total of 600mb (for offline files that is).

I needed to temporally move the game folder to another HDD because I had only 57GB free, and it needed 60GB. I can then move it back if I want. It needs 60 because it temporarily copy the game folder to a !Temp folder to do all the work on the files, and then it moves them back again.

But the game is rather portable like Withcer 3 so it doesn't matter where the game is. I even copied CP2077 to an external 7200 disk through USB3 and it still loaded in seconds.

- Cut out the horizontal parkour.

- Cut out a detailed selection of V's backstory.

- Car customization has been cut out.

- Cut out the customization of apartments.

- the reputation system is cut out, some neutered version is left, which does nothing at all in the game.

- All public transport has been cut out.

- cut out all cutscenes from the 3rd person shown in the demo of the 18th year.

- You can't change your hair. Apparently, in the world of the future, barbers are extinct. EVEN IN FALLOUT 4, YOU CAN DO IT, KAMON!

- You can not do tattoos, only on the character creation screen at the beginning of the game.

—You can't preview the clothes you want to buy. This could be done even in San Andreas. But not in Cyberpunk.

—It was promised that almost EVERY building can be entered. As a result, you can hardly go anywhere at all.

- Cut OUT ALL RPGs IN GENERAL. this is not a game, this is fallout 4, with its endless "quests". The main character is constantly calling some random Celica with the same phrase Ala "YOU don'T KNOW ME, BUT I KNOW YOU. GO INTO THAT BUILDING OVER THERE, KILL EVERYONE!" AND THAT'S THE WHOLE GAME IN THE OPEN WORLD! in 2020m! The HORROR!!!

- enemies constantly shoot through walls. add to this more enemies like "netrunner", which force you to run like a fool to the enemies in the face. To the max. the complexity of every gunfight turns into a circus.

- balance weapons and shootouts here straight from destiny 2.

—there is a complete lack of ai in car drivers, in the truest sense. they do not react to shooting, never go around obstacles. They don't do anything at all, just go to waypoints.

"The police system is just feces.

- Cal driving physics.

- Cal interface.

- Enemy AI cal.

- Elections don't affect anything.

- Translation of subtitles with errors.

—One hooker for the whole city. Although in the demo of the 18th year it was SAID and SHOWN that hookups in this harsh world are commonplace.

- The balance is broken. Perks are even worse than in Fallout 4 (much worse), they only affect the numbers.

- Stealth is broken, the mechanics of hiding corpses in general in the game will never be needed. Because you will leave THOUSANDS of these corpses behind you.

—The soundtrack is very poor. In the main menu, baldezh plays and ... everything. When you hear the rest of the tracks, it's amazing that someone got paid for such a game.

patches will not fix this in any way

SERGELIP: - cut out all cutscenes from the 3rd person shown in the demo of the 18th year.
1. You are posting into wrong thread.
2. Done on purpose. It's an improvement, which is far more difficult than cutscenes. Cutscenes are annoying. And since Half-Life 1 which brought interaction with gaming world, cutscenes considered to be cheap and quick. Instead they made full interaction.

GOG using diff patching. To avoid any issues while patching it's making entire copy of all files to patch. There are pros and cons of this system. Downloading size is smaller than Steam, but disk space required to update is larger.
Galaxy updated the other day to set a Temp Directory for updates etc.
