It becomes kinda annoying to loot all these unnecessary items - yes, most of them are not necessary, because they're only the same items over and over, but with slightly different stats. And since there are so many of them, it becomes a quite annoying task to open the inventory, find and sort or scrap these things. I'm talking mostly about weapons here.

If we had a key, which allows us to scrap items directly while picking them up, that would be VERY helpful!

The balancing needs a lot of rework! Whether if that will happen at CDPR or modders doesn't matter that much. But I'm pretty sure that most people will agree with me about this:

1. Food items are boring! There are a lot of different food items, yes. But the stats are ALWAYS the same! This doesn't reflect the need of such things They should have way more diverse stats and (dis)advantages! In the current way they're not really helpful!

2. The crafting system needs much more rework! When I collect good weapons for example, and then I upgrade them via crafting - or even create new ones - they will be very quick superseeded by some random weapon, that I'm going to pickup from a random enemy. What is the point of crafting, when the crafted or upgraded item becomes unuseful that fast? It is much cheaper to pick up better guns from enemies, than putting al the work, resources and time into crafting. And the availability of legendary or unique items is too low! This way currently crafting doesn't motivate to use it at all! And it even features its own skill tree! This needs a lot of change, because in the current implementation it doesn't make sense. Most important: We need something special, something that you can only get via crafting! There must be something that encourages us to use this feature! (Maybe there is, and I didn't find it yet. But even then it could be improved.)

3. Clothing! The decision to add armor stats, etc. to the clothes wasn't a good one - in my opinion! If I want my V to look cool, but then I find this pink jacket that absolutley does not fit to his overall style, but has tripple the armor protection - what would I do? I mean you can of course go to some shop and buy better and nicer looking clothes, but at some point you loose interest in doing so, because you will always find some random clothing item that gives better protection while looking absolutely terrible. And here we also have the same problem like with weapons and crafting. Additionally to this some things donÄt make sense at all! I.e. I got a bullet proff vest, and then I find a pink string tanga that has double the protection and also protects against explosions! Wtf!?? :D

I have a lot of unf with the game! I only suggest to put some extra work into these things and make them a little more enjoyable for us. That would be great!

I'm pretty sure that I agree with most things. I'm not sure a quickbutton for disassemble is all that useful when we don't really know what we're picking up until we look at it in inventory, though.

That aside, I really don't like the item model in this game. All clothes are just clothes, with no sense or logic in what you get whatsoever, aside from item level being king. The attributes of an item have zero connection with what that item actually is.

And CDPR blabbered on endlessly about the importance and meaning of style before launch. What style? Nobody in the game world cares one bit what you're wearing, it seems, and you can't really work out a style for you V unless you're willing to ignore functionality completely, meaning V has no style whatsoever. And we can't even recolor outfits. Can't modify them to look more like something our V would want to wear.

Weapons is the same thing. Why can't I trick the heck out of my favorite gun? Why can't I pick between what color schemes I want on it and tweak exactly what properties it has? But I can't. I can throw in some predefined mods, if the gun has slots, and that's it. It is at this point that we sort of realise that freaking Fallout 4 had more depth in its crafting system. Fallout 4!

I really hope CDPR, once everybody has had a good rest, take a good long look at the current item system and dump it into the nearest garbage bin. Because along with the AI, it really is terrible.
Inventory management in general needs a rework. You should be able to sell item stacks or to craft more than one item at a time (e.g. convert 5000 lower tier resources to 900 higher tier resources in one go - not in 900).

The clothing vendors should also sell what they have on display. Why can't i buy a suit if i play the corpo path? Maybe some sort of transmog system or a separate style inventory. There are ways. I stopped using bikes because you actually see your character. Thank god this game is in first person most of the time.

I really like this game, so i guess i can live with this for the time being. But they made the same mistakes as in Witcher 3. Too many useless items / weapons / armors and no way to manage them conveniently.
