Ok so I got this game when it launched. It was like, okish. I'm not gonna sit here and rag on it or anything, since I honestly had some fun with it. But I got part way through and decided to come back when some of the DLC was added. Since then there's been alot of updates. Which is good. I like seeing it supported. So my question is, what exactly has been added since the launch date? I'm wanting to play it again but I'm split on when to do it since I would like to start at the beginning and experience all the fun. I've also heard there is going to be a MAJOR update coming down the pipeline soon. Whole new section of map and everything. Is that true? Just trying to decide if now is the time to really go hog wild with it or if I should put it off for a little while to see more stuff added.

I have only recently updated to patch 1.6 (like, yesterday, coming from patch 1.5 Hotfix 1), but I have been playing since patch 1.03, and honestly...so far, I can't say I have seen much of anything other than major and minor bug fixing.

There's been a new car, some pieces of clothing, a few new weapons, 4 new pointless apartments and a handful of new gigs (all called "DLCs"), but other than that, not much. Unless there is something new I don't know about.

...as for the promised pre launch content....little to nothing...they took 1 year to unfuck it bugfix wise...but activities, npc daily routines, open world bigger and better never before seen....nope.

So i'de say, as a linear fps it is great...as an open world rpg....nope and never will be because they are already making moves toward applying the profit they made in this con for sequels and live actions....the world of gaming is becoming like this games city....Night Shitty.
