Gnostic: I think the logic is the same with not allowing user to edit the reviews.
If you can delete it, you can then add a new "edited" review after that, that will be the same with editing review.
If you do not allow user to add review after they delete theirs, then there may be backlash of not being able to write a review for a game at all.
hedwards: I suppose, but it's problematic to have reviews frozen in time that may or may not reflect the current version. I know that GOG sometimes goes in an edits reviews to suggest that they no longer apply, but I think that's bad policy when the reviewer may actually intend for it to stand.
