All of everything is back, plus some new stuff.

It's the incredible, the amazing, the stunning Indie Piñata Grande Finale!

Welcome to the final blowout. It's 24 hours of every deal and Pinata so far, all to bring this weeklong event to its grande conclusion. Among these exceptional offers is the return of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - now in an all-new, totally improved Unreal Engine 4 Redux edition. There's the most delicious combination of words in gaming, also known as Sunless Sea, and of course - there is a handful of completely new Piñatas so you can keep on whackin' on!

What is the Indie Piñata?
The Indie Piñata is a whacky gaming sale brought to you by Crunching Koalas and GOG.com, a weeklong celebration of diverse indie games - organised to help gamers (you) discover great indie titles without breaking the bank. Instead, we'll break the Piñata! A lot.

There's so much stuff.
There's stuff alright, with plenty of video game stuffing.
We've got a hefty selection of deals up to 80% off - all indies, all highly recommended - this includes titles like Kerbal Space Program (-33%), NEO Scavenger (-50%), Legend of Grimrock 2 (-75%), and MouseCraft (-80%), so that you can pick and choose what you play (but it's probably best to get them all just in case).

Whack your Piñata!
If you're fond of surprises, for $3 (or your local equivalent), you can grab your own 100% whackable Piñata and find a random indie wonder inside - handpicked by us and Crunching Koalas. The Piñata can include games anywhere from $9.99 to $44.99, so there's a deal (and a satisfying POP) behind every swing - and we’ll be ready to congratulate those of you who show off your discounted gains on Twitter with the hashtag #IndiePinata!

The Promo and Piñata include a completely separate batch of games, so there's plenty of variety and surprises - we'll also rotate the Promo and Piñata lineup after three days, just so that things don't get too stale. The Indie Piñata promo will last until 9/18/2015, 9:59AM GMT. Just remember - check yourself, before you whack yourself.
Batter up!

Stream watch:

It's the Indie Piñata at , as well! We’re celebrating with tons of special promo streams. [url=https://www.gog.com/news/coming_up_on_twitchtvgogcom]Check out the schedule to know what’s going on over the weekend, and follow our channel for 4-6 hours of awesome, daily gaming content!
I would like to know if with the Piñata's reboot still it's available Republique.
Anyone got it?

rodrolliv: [...] And, are there any regional restrictions with Piñata gifts?
As far as I know, there are no restrictions on who can redeem any GOG gift codes.

Wurzelkraft: Though it is just a 24 hour thing: Amnesia The Dark Descent is free on Steam. I don't post this to advertise but rather to criticize. After all the game could be in a Pinata and is available for free elsewhere.

Marioface5: I have to wonder if we would be getting it for free as well if it weren't for the pinatas.
You can get it for free -- on Steam.
What, do you think the publisher's gonna give it away on all stores that sell it at the same time? I am not aware of any cases of that happening (I'm talking about temporary giveaways, not a game being made freeware). Giveaways like this are promotions for a specific store, not just for the publisher/developer/game series; this one's a Steam promotion. Every time a game on GOG is temporarily given away for free, Steam and Humble and the others aren't automatically allowed to also give it away.
So, no, "we" (GOG users) would not be getting it for free even if it weren't randomly available here for 3$ in the current sale.

HunchBluntley:
Yeah, you're right.
It sounds like a fun promo. I wonder what the distribution is like for the piñata titles. Anyway, I hope you all find a good game in that piñata!
Well, I decided to take a gamble after holding off for a few days. What did I get? Amnesia: A Dark Descent. A game I already own, and is also FREE on Steam at this exact moment for 24 hours. FML.
Great, exactly what I was worried about happening happened, I won a game I already have on steam, yay! (sarcasm)

Ask Support for a refund/store credit/to convert it into a gift code.
So....

I tried again, but only bought 21 Pinatas(only using Store Credit from the last try) and got only Gift Codes, again.

I think I'll pass from now on, since it doesn't seem I'll get anything else out of it.

Can anyone from the GOG.com staff who is here please look into returning the Store Credit?

...and Judas...BRING IT ON!

;)
Errr, guys, it's great that Technobabylon Deluxe Edition is reduced by 50%, but would you be so fair as to also reduce the Deluxe Edition Upgrade by 50% as well...??
I hope the weekend deals will feature the Pinata games with a lower discount. Its unlikely, but I want to buy Republique and Dreamfall: Chapters.

One can dream, right ? ^^
so are they not refuding on pinatas? i never got a response to my ticket.

They are, though it may take some time depending on how busy they are and when your ticket was sent.

thats right i got it in 2 days or so, nothing wrong with that, even 5 days would be okay, its a busy promo, it was weekend, so its okay.

I have some other accounts of gamesites and trust me, the GOG support is the best.
i remember longtime in an browsergame from gameforge, took 14 days :D before they even replied
so GoG is super compared to other sites.

GOG was down for a little while, but was back really fast
on some other sites it took 3 tot 4 days :D yup and that was during sales so we missed the sales cause no online site is no sales games :D and we got no kind of compensation, no extra time for the sales, nope, nothing.

So if people sometimes say i go elsewhere, i wish them good luck cause most of the other sites ....
the .... word rhymes on luck :D
