No Gods or Kings or DRM.

Update: Classic versions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are now available. If you already own Bioshock Remastered or Bioshock 2 Remastered, you can download classic versions directly from your GOG library.

BioShock™ and BioShock 2™ Remastered are finally available DRM-free.

darthspudius: mentioned it earlier, the original copies have physics capped at 30 fps. The game technically runs fine but rolling objects etc look like they're stuttering. Big issue that was never officially patched. There's a mod out to fix it, you can find a great demonstration on Youtube as an example. I remember the sound issue. I had to stick a microphone in before it'd work. Why? I have no idea. lol

Haha, that's good though. It admittedly bugged my happiness all these years. Didn't stop me playing it though. :D

I consider BioShock to be one of the two main spritual successors to System Shock, the other one being Dead Space.

I just want to know if this runs better than Remastered on Steam, cuz I have those.

I like getting the most stable experience.

Precisely, Prey is System Shock for a new generation, done by veterans who follows in the footsteps of LookinGlass Studios :)

Did not wanted to buy another game this year. Failed Self Control Roll after 20 Minutes critical. Negative Consequences are "You own now Bioshock 1 & 2 Remastered and on your bank account are Red Numbers again."

I already got Bioshock at a thrift shop for $2.

Neverthless, if you ever get a bundle going that includes Infinite, then I'd likely be interested.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. The remasters in my collection all have the originals (where included) as completely separate files. Frankly, I'd prefer it that way, as my 940MX won't run the remaster but should have no problem with the originals, and I don't want to install 14gb of unused files.

MarkoH01: Last but not least: while being unarmed (first big daddy/little sister encounter) the mouse sensitivity is super high until you hold weapon or plasmid again.
I played that scene last night and didn't notice anything wrong with mouse sensitivity. I don't know if this an occasional bug only though.
