No Gods or Kings or DRM.

Update: Classic versions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are now available. If you already own Bioshock Remastered or Bioshock 2 Remastered, you can download classic versions directly from your GOG library.

BioShock™ and BioShock 2™ Remastered are finally available DRM-free.

The legendary shooters emerge from somewhere beyond the sea, dripping with that deliciously claustrophobic atmosphere of decay, corruption, and human ambition gone wrong.
Widely considered as the gold standard for story-driven shooters with light RPG elements, they have been remastered to feature higher resolution textures and models, director's commentary, and several other additions that ensure time will never wash them away.
Pump yourself full of plasmids, pump your enemies full of bullets, and dive right back into Rapture's beautifully rotten halls.

FleXo: Damm it, I am weak...bought both of them....resisted for a few days!:-)

!!!... . . Aaaand bought both

Refused to buy both games all along until now.
Waiting did pay off after all - although it took bloody ages to come out in drm free versions ;)

Now get Bioshock Infinite next pretty please :D
*thumbs up* two of the best games

Anohren: If you believe the Steam reviews, the remastered versions are nothing but crashfests. Combined with the stance from GOG regarding included games, i.e. "we can't offer support for it because it's a 'bonus'", I think I'll wait until GOG releases the originals separately, or alternatively until they stop pretending that included items are not part of the product that's being purchased.
Hear hear!
i think it's unfair to compare gog releases to steam. saints row steam edition crashed for me and others, yet gog version has yet to crash.

Well, I have both games already on original DVDs and also on Steam so with my budget before christmas I hoped that I would be reasonable!:-)
Does anyone have a screenshot of the Graphics Settings for Bioshock Remastered 1? The PCGamingWiki link doesn't seem to work.

Thanks!
Alright xmass is here.

Refused to buy them at that steamy store. Nice addition to my GOG library.
Thanks GOG.
Can anyone that's played these more than a few hours tell me if these are crash and save erasing prone still? Especially Bioshock 2 Remastered as i've heard it was way more crash prone than BS1 Remastered.

About 3 hours in Bioshock 1. One crash, no saves erased.
ok, i stated in a earlier post that whatever versions 'allegedly' have a shit frame rate and i wasnt sure. thats the original version(s) right?
I have currently played 6 hours each and has not experienced a crash or nasty bugs, so far so good.
Well. Bought, installed, played for 5 minutes, had to go work. Now it crashes by every start attempt. Fine.
