No Gods or Kings or DRM.

Update: Classic versions of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 are now available. If you already own Bioshock Remastered or Bioshock 2 Remastered, you can download classic versions directly from your GOG library.

BioShock™ and BioShock 2™ Remastered are finally available DRM-free.

The legendary shooters emerge from somewhere beyond the sea, dripping with that deliciously claustrophobic atmosphere of decay, corruption, and human ambition gone wrong.
Widely considered as the gold standard for story-driven shooters with light RPG elements, they have been remastered to feature higher resolution textures and models, director's commentary, and several other additions that ensure time will never wash them away.
Pump yourself full of plasmids, pump your enemies full of bullets, and dive right back into Rapture's beautifully rotten halls.

Fantastic! instant buy. Been waiting to get these here after getting bioshock 1 DRM free at humble bundle.
Also great to replace more of my steam games
Hopefully GOG can work their magic on EA and get Mass Effect

Lucumo: Technically nice to have them here, but the original games being gated behind "remastered" versions is a no-buy from me. I hate that practice by publishers so much (looking at you, Beamdog, Disney etc).
The remastered editions fixed the tiny UI/HUD in high resolutions, and the original versions come with the remastered versions, so what are you complaining about?
Very nice. Was expecting these earlier in the year, but it's never too late. Thank you! Now BioShock Infinite.
And some free time.

tinyE: i've heard mixed reviews on Infinite.

Then again, when AOE 1 came out I heard mixed reviews on that and it's one of my favorite all time.
Well, AoE 1 probably deserves those reviews; but then again, who dafaq plays "good" games anyway?

Infinite is dumbed down, "cinematic" version of Bioshock 1. But if we look to Hegel and Mathematics, dumbed down version of dumbed down System Shock 2 actually makes it smart. lol

Anyway, like for saying fuck Steam.

Very nice...Hexen and Heretic next? Or Max Payne?
Great snag, I always wondered why Humble got Bio1 DRM-free and GOG somehow didn't. Well this answers that and puts a cherry on top with the later addition of the classic versions for both (they didn't have Bio2 DRM-free.) Here's hoping Infinite comes sooner than much later!
Sorry, I am a bit lazy right now - but I would only buy those games (again) if I can be ABSOLUTELY sure to also get the classics which are far less buggy than those remastered versions. In the description it says they will be added "at a later time" and I wonder when this might be? It would not be the first time GOG said we would get smething later added (i.e. the FLAC OST for Finding Paradise - game has been released in 12/2017 with "Flac coming soon" written on the store page of the OST ... and it still is not "soon") but it still has not arrived. So an ETA would be greatly appreciated.

+1000 xD (and mechwarrior/mechcommander series and what a happy holidays would have this year!!)

About Bioshock 1 and 2...not much more to say, both are awesome so instabuy!
Noice. More 2K titles are always nice to have. The last time I played Bioshock was 8-10 years ago, so it'll be definitely nice to revisit. As for #2, it'll be brand-new to me. :)

Here's to hoping that Infinite will eventually follow suit.

Dawnreader: Big Daddy came!
*SPLOOGE!*
Wow nice to see Bioshock on GOG! Is there an ETA on when the classic version will arrive?
Many thanks GOG, I never actually believed that these games would show up here.
This was a pleasant surprise!
Niiice! I'll buy them as soon as the classic version is actually added.

I'm only interested in the original version which I can't buy because it's gated behind the remastered version which I don't want at all and for which they charge more. Same as Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition etc etc.
How long will the 75% discount last?
Holy crap I think I just wet my pants :D

Bioshock 1 & 2 on GOG? I have to get some glasses my vision seems gone :)

Instabuy! Thanks GOG

Don't be too sad people, Infinite is not THAT good, I really was happy when I finished it on my 360. Well, at least almost. The end fight was unplayable so I did not finish it and never had regrets. Ultrahardcore games are so 80s :P
