Reigniting the old flame.

UPDATE: All owners of the game can go ahead and grab the Rum Runner's Pack for free. It adds six new alcohol-themed items and Mirke, a recruitable sidekick that really loves her booze.
If you don't own the Deluxe or Obsidian edition of the game, you can also now purchase the game's Sountrack separately.

Note: If you already own the first Pillars of Eternity on GOG, go to your library and look under Serial Keys. You should see a bonus code which you can use to redeem your Gaun's Pledge DLC for Pillars of Eternity II.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is here, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The sequel to Obsidian's seminal RPG, which brought back all the immersion and attention to detail we remember from the genre's classics, has finally arrived. Introducing naval battle mechanics, a new vast open world, a relationship system that now affects interactions between your companions, and an epic story involving the re-emergence of an old god, it might just become the RPG you'll be replaying for all eternity!

Go for the Deluxe Edition, which includes a Digital P&P Guide, the official OST, the second Volume of the Digital Guidebook and more. You can also grab that stuff separately inside the Explorer's Pack.
Or plan for the future with the Obsidian Edition, which also grants you access to the Season Pass, that contains the first three pieces of planned DLC.

For all those experiencing download problems (greyed out buttons) please try account refresh first:

https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

EDIT: single account refresh will work, please avoid refreshing the account multiple times. There is a slight lag due to the sheer amount of requests, but we are working on speeding things up.

Thank you for your patience.

EDIT2: If after refresh and you are using Galaxy Client and on your shelf you have any other version than "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire", try buying free DLC for POE2 through the Client. That should force client cache refresh.
(DLC should be visible on Overview page [::PIC::])

previous BETA players
please switch from Public Beta to default branch to get the full version

mahen_fr: Oops, the Linux install file is corrupt (13 GB insteand of 20 GB).
I'm a Fig backer too BTW, I can download (but it's corrupt).
Cheers :)

Pangaea666: Apparently the Linux version is only 13.9GB though, and it says on the page it should be 20GB. I sure hope it isn't borked. I don't have a rapid internet connection so it takes a while. Not too keen to download this game several times to get a working version.
avatar
hollunder: The refresh made the links appear, whether the Linux version works or not I can tell you in half an hour at best. I have a feeling there's a bit of a load on the servers though.
It's an error on our side that we sincerely apologize for. We're re-uploading the Linux version of the game to the website right now.
Linux file is supposed to be 20+ GB. 14GB is the broken one, do not download.

Barry_Woodward: I have "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Fig Ultimate Digital Edition". I tried refreshing my account and got the GOG bear holding up the world. Also my season pass in now listed as a separate entry that says: "Base game missing. You don't have the base product necessary to play the DLC. You can buy it below or redeem it if you already have the code."

What do I do?
due to the amount of requests, refresh can take up to 15min to kick in

Barry_Woodward: Also, what say ye of the season pass being a completely separate entry on my shelf?
On website or in Galaxy?
avatar
Barry_Woodward: It looks like it's just the website. Clicking on the Fig Backer Edition in Galaxy doesn't work though, it just refreshes my games shelf.
Have you tried the free DLC workaround posted above? That should trick the client into refreshing its database.

archaven: the DLC backup copy need to download and install separately? or it came install with base game?
if installing through client, all owned DLCs are installed alongside the main game. When using standalone installers, DLCs need to be installed afterwards manually.

EDIT in client you can check which DLCs are installed / available for installation if you go to MORE-> SETTINGS

joacobarcala: Ive just tried that but it didnt work.. the game crushes at the same point as before.. any idea why or how to resolve it?
Try switching to windowed mode and lowering resolution a bit. I had some problems on my home PC related to monitor setup.
avatar
Pangaea666: Not sure which DLCs you are talking about here, but I just redeemed my version of the de facto season pass (backer who paid for it so got the code from Obsidian's site). It's not visible in my account yet, but that probably takes a while, especially now with the extra load. However, given the DLCs won't be out for at least a few months, will anything show up in the library already now?
It's called Critical Role Pack DLC, should be visible in client on main gamecard.
avatar
Pangaea666: I don't have that, is it part of the Ultimate edition? I have three DLC so far. Captain's footlocker, Korean language, and Obsidian order item. I pledged the base game + DLC season pass as extra. But the latter may not be effected here on GOG yet, as I only redeemed it half an hour ago.
You should see it on Overview page [::PIC::]
If it's not there, try restarting the client.

Reever: Two questions: Got the Fig Premium Digital Edition, am I also supposed to find Critical Role Pack in my account? I don't seem to have it.
You need to add it manually:

Reever: Thank you! Should be linked to the Game page, would be less work for you on this end ;)
I have my suspicions why it doesn't appear there, but I suppose it won't be fixed until tomorrow in the office ;)

joacobarcala: Someone in GOG team, please help!!!

I pre-ordered the game and downloaded it for MAC. (The three files shown in the picture).
"Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire" , "Captain's Footlocker" and "Critical Role Pack".

I installed it, started a new game and after the cinematic introduction, when you have to "walk in the memories purple path", when I reach the end of it and starts loading the next page, it crashes.
The screen stays in black and wont respond. I have to force exit.

I tried lowering the graphics and activate the window option. Downloaded the files again.
Uninstalled and installed once more. And nothing, the problem continues.

It makes no sense, because basically I start "playing"... makes me think that could be a problem of the game itself? or the installer file?

Please, how can I resolve this?
Is the first time I buy a game with you (or any platform in a long time) and I don't know what to do. I don't know very well how this things use to work..
Hello there,

Please contact our customer support directly and provide detailed information about your Mac. You can generate it in a form of a system report following the instructions described here.

That way it will be much easier for us to come up with a solution that works for you. Thank you.
avatar
joacobarcala: Hi,
I did that but this file includes private information (serial number and other stuff) that honestly y I dont feel very comfortable sending. And without this file wont let me send any request.
Isnt any other way i can provide you my sistem Information? A mail or something?
The information from the system report will be only used in context of the support ticket you would send to GOG.com Support and nowhere else. It is required so we can identify the cause of the issue and help you.

However if you really would like to avoid sending us your technical system report, you should be able to submit an empty text file instead or use a different category for your message than "Game technical issues".

There has been an issue in our uploading process. We are re-uploading the game build right now. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

EDIT:

We are also uploading a small patch, so there's no need to re-download the entire game if you have the release version already installed.
