Customization Wardrobe

• Tooltips now display when hovering outfits and hair selections. The text on the buttons was removed.

Notifications

• Added missing short DEMI notification upon completing the main story. Note: This will play when loading the game if the player has completed the main story.
• Added missing warning prompts and notifications prior to initiating the final mission.

Bug Fixes

Outfits

• Fixed issue with DEMI’s “Ascended” undressed version showing “panties”.
• Fixed issue with DEMI’s “Code Red” outfit not rendering during dialogue sections.

Navigation

• Fixed an issue where Navigation notifications would not trigger after a quest was completed if the player spoke to a character prior to going to navigation. This caused the prompts to show after another event in the game took place.

Cinematics

• Fixed issue where the subtitles could exceed the window boundaries.

Progression

• Fixed issue where combat performance could affect rewards by up to 10% (tech, bio, credits and XP). Going forward all missions will issue a standard amount regardless of performance. This was due to the previous ranking system.

Archives

• Fixed issue where Chapter 5 dialogue sections did not have their own category.

UI

• Fixed issue where the bounds on the Captain’s Computer carousel images surpassed the container which blocked the ability to click the Exit and Customization buttons.
• The icon for “Dawn of the Mantics” passive in Grid Combat was updated.
• When viewing Captain’s Computer, an issue was fixed causing the previous category image to show when selecting a category with no entries.
• Fixed issue with Hair and Outfit icons displaying low res textures.
Various preview images for PANDORA have been corrected.

Audio

• Fixed issue where opening the Credits and then returning to the Main Menu caused the music to stop playing.

Known Issues (Does not include all issues)

UI

• Some UI elements are currently loading at low resolution.
• Some SFX on buttons are missing.
• Taron’s shop UI has a work in progress layout in the 1.0 version, this will be changed in a later patch
• When gifting items, the items are stacked however there isn’t a number displayed to show quantity.

Navigation

• There are 4 anomalies that are not accessible due to future updates, 1 in Griffin Nebula, 2 in Dragon North and 1 hidden in Hydra.

Space Combat

• During the last Space Combat boss fight, after the cinematic plays and the final stage begins, the boss has no health bar. Crashing the F3N1X and trying again should load the checkpoint with the health bar normally displaying, until a fix is made.
• Some boss fights may still need tuning based on sponginess and player feedback.
• Pickups need to be more abundant during random scenarios.
• Improve Gamepad Support.

Grid Combat

• Some boss fights may still need tuning based on sponginess and player feedback.
• Blythe’s “W” attack will receive a VFX overhaul.

Pandora

• Ela’s scene Plug It has a lens flare issue when viewed with the NSuit outfit
• The sweat skin is not noticeable when the Visual Effects setting is set to lower than high.
• Blythe shrank a few inches during her neutral idle! She should be back to normal height in a future patch.
• Some lighting issues persist on certain Pandora scenes at settings lower than the max.

Dialogue Sections

• A few visual novel scenes still need additional revamping.
• Erark’s hologram cuts off at the elbows.
• Some physics issues persist on characters like Celestina and Huntress.

Gallery

• Gallery images that display on Captain’s computer are no longer visible when returning to take another photo in the gallery. However, the photos are still available using the gallery poster.

Audio

• Taron’s audiotapes are not yet in the game.

Performance

• Reports of crashes during the dialogue sections of the game.
• Alt-Tabbing potentially can cause the game to crash, especially during areas of the game where high loads take place.
• Yellow/White screen flashing artifact during space combat when using the FXAA aliasing method. Most likely due to the lens flare and or high bloom values.
• Switching through waifus quickly in the Gifting section of the Bar might not load the Gifting UI. Leaving the room and re-entering can fix this temporarily.

NOTES

• If you encounter pak file decompression related crashes try verifying integrity of game files as this usually fixes the issue.

PraetorianWolfie: At least for Repentance DLC that I've checked, the version has been updated to 1.7.9b (from 1.7.8a previously). So we're at this patch (or close to it):

I believe the 1.9.x patches are for the new "DLC" which currently exists only on Steam, for Repentance+ (tentatively labelled "Beta" too), so it's probably going to be a while until GOG gets that update (if ever).

Yep, people have already reported that the save files and DLC works as normal again, and here's the latest update from the king:

The new updated version looks like it still uses the CPU core limit fix though, which shouldn't be used unless the game crashes on your specific system.

I'll just keep the old version for now. It's easier to add the 4GB patch yourself than it is to revert the CPU core limit.

• Items you pick up in the tutorial are removed when you leave the tutorial area.

• If you are close to a wall you can correctly interact with level features on your side of the wall.

Quality of Life improvements and new features

• The List of saved games now displays a thumbnail to help figure out which save is which and where, especially useful when having a lots of different saves (applies to every new save)
• Buyback! You asked for it, we listened. It’s now possible to buyback any items sold by mistake (mind you, sold items will still disappear when trader’s stock refreshes (when resting for example)
• Cinematics are now available to watch anytime (after being unlocked, duh!) from the Main Menu
• Read any note before even picking it up! Now every new note will be displayed instantly and can be either picked up or left where it was (reading them still counts towards the achievement!)
• Autohide HUD [time to hide] can be now defined in the Settings menu
• Timed effects on status icons should now be easier to notice

Changes

• Hearts of the same kind will no longer stack healing effects. But different heart artifacts will continue to stack, so keep those old ones around just in case!
• Old Faithful now works not only with revolvers, but also pistols. Unleash ye inner yee-haw, cowboys!
• The Chapter 3 boss fight has been slightly improved. Most notably, weapon range is increased significantly when in the boss fight arena! (So you can shoot him with shotguns)

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the scrollbars were not visible in certain menus

Be advised. GOGDB miss some main branch setup updates. Even them. More often miss patch updates (hotfix reuploads) and goodies. Diablo 1 and Warcraft 1 recent updates are not the only ones for recent and same case happened many times before too. Sometimes partially appear on GOGDB as only patch update or only main setup - when its actually both updated.
Worse for DLCs.
And not all features and app histories taken from GOG-DB fork. Sadly.

Diablo 1 show only patch update for real offline setup update too. Warcaft 1 GOGDB entry miss update entirely.

Also GOGDB do not store Changelogs as MAGOG did (for pre2021 still do) while GOG shorten some update logs (for specific update) and erase others. Or rollbacks not logged. Since GOGDB take it directly for what is available right now on Changelogs.

Some updates logs appear on GOG incorrectly only on Store page for bundles, because GOG add logs only for bundle (as a storefront hiccup advert, this is about Verify stability "updates"), did not appear in Library neither in game specific GOGDB page but only on bundle (like Bethesda products).

Hi everyone! Here's Version 1.81 of Knights of the Chalice 2.

It fixes a few bugs (including a problem with Dispelling weapons that could cause a crash) and improves the Gladiator's Blinding Strike by adding extra damage (one point per two levels). The Gladiator's feat Improved Blinding Strike is also improved. Thank you so much Christoffer for all the bug reports!

• Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when targeting a ranged-touch spell and your mage is holding a Dispelling weapon. When calculating the percentage to hit the target with the spell, the game was resetting the current spell to Dispel Magic, due to the Dispelling effect.
• Added a note in the help entries for Hit Points, Sweltering, Freezing and Underwater saying that, on a map with continuous damage, unconscious characters don't return to one Hit Point automatically after combat because they cannot rest properly. They do recover when you leave the dangerous map.
• The Monk's Dodge Bonus from Wisdom will now take into account the character's Generic-type bonuses to Wisdom, if any. Previously, only the highest enhancement bonus was taken into account.
• Fixed a bug with the Gladiator feat Powerful Blinding Strike I.
• The Gladiator's Blinding Strike attack will now deal damage equal to the character's normal damage plus one point per two levels. Also updated the help entries of the Gladiator and Blinding Strike ability.
• Improved the Gladiator feat Improved Blinding Strike. In addition to increasing the duration of the Blindness effect, it will increase the Blinding Strike Difficulty Class by one point. Updated the help entry for the feat Improved Blinding Strike.
• Added some links in the help entries of the other Gladiator feats associated with the Blinding Strike ability.
• Updated the in-game chart of subraces, in the help entry about subraces, with a line concerning the Aviara Elf.
• Updated all the dialogue scripts that had the text "please click on the image below". This is incorrect now that the image can be displayed above the text rather than below. The scripts were both in the module Augury of Chaos and in the Tutorial Adventure.
• Expanded the script command Set module property to allow a module's introduction script to distribute basic clothing (but no weapons) to the party members. If you want to include basic weapons, please use the Distribute equipment script command instead.
