For Halloween I'm playing the devil's dance with potential diabetes as
I buy bags of treat-or-treat candy for trick-or-treaters who I know will
never show up.

I mean I can't just let it go to waste, can I?
Hmm, I hadn't even thought of it. Maybe I should install the 2009 Ghostbusters game on I have on Steam.

muddysneakers: Glad you like it. Its been one of the better games I've played this year but I was still left wanting more. I've got an itch for something like Deadspace or System Shock 2 that I have been unable to scratch with Soma and Bioshock.

To answer the question probably Call of Juarez or Dreamfall Chapters. Not really thematic but they're what's coming up in the playlist.
Yeah that Cliffhanger in Deadspace always irks me whenever I re-play it, and System Shock 2 always left me wanting more as well.

BTW, have you played the SS2 single player mods by Christine yet? They are very good, imo(but without maps, sadly), for free content.

Also for similar games Stasis and Cayne seem to be very similar in theme/feeling.

Nope, but feel free to throw out the candies no one in their right mind would eat...you know the ones. It will save you a bit from getting the diabetes.

I finished it on PS3 and imo it's pretty good. It has the original voices(minus Tully as his VA doesn't want to act in any capacity anymore) and the plot continues the first two movie's plots and does it very decently, imo.

Huh, maybe I'll rewatch the movies before playing it then :)

Yeah it follows the villain of the first film for the most part, with aspects of the second thrown in as a bonus(like the painting of vigo which shows up in the firehouse). It is definitely worth watching the first film to get caught up and perhaps the second if you want(but it isn't needed as much).

Also if you play be sure to use the detector tool to scan for hidden items a ton(they show up blue in the tool) as you play, and most items can be zapped with the proton pack, which is fun.
