Is physical media doomed? A redundant question we answered a billion times already. In his video (8:52), MJR talks about gog.com. This is no breaking news of course, I was just surprised to see that.

A few years ago this guy did a whole 40 minute video just listing the games he bought on GOG and the reasons why, he's a pretty dedicated retro gaming fan.

And a major advantage is the installers being DRM free, just burn to a disc and you can make your own media backups...

Though making the manuals/boxes would be a little harder...
