Greetings, fellow GOG'ers! Courtesy of Rohan15 I have a copy of Nuclear Dawn via Steam for this giveaway.

Rules are simple:

1) You must have registered on GOG prior to January 2013
2) No Rep requirement (Huzzah!)
3) You may regift or trade if you win. It's yours to keep, pure and simple.
4) Winner will be selected Friday, the 19th of July via Random.Org
5) To win, unless you win and want to give the steam game to someone who has steam, you will need a steam account to get the gift.

For this giveaway, I would like you to share a non-detailed (or detailed if you choose, but it won't make a difference in winning) situation where you put the needs of someone else before your own.

That's all there is to it! As I said, you don't need to get into specifics where people could be identified or you feel like you're sharing too much of your personal life. Just share a simple story of putting someone else before you.

Good luck! And HAVE FUN!
~Cym
Thanks for the giveaway, Cym! Count me in :D (I already have the game, but I know a friend that has confirmed he is interested).

Hmm, a situation where I've had to put the needs of others above my own...well, I refilled my dog's food bowl the other day, even though I had to pee! Does that count? :P Well, I went on vacation to Santa Monica with my dad and sister a couple of weeks ago, and after hanging out on the beach and getting wet, I had to give my little sister my shirt (she was wearing a white top and was embarrassed) and walk around the shopping district of Santa Monica (which I thought would have had at least one other shirtless guy, but alas, I was alone) while my dad got another shirt. It was pretty awkward, but I got through it. Does that count? Honestly, I don't have any other situations lately where I've had to sacrifice myself for others. At least, none that I can think of. Guess I'm pretty lucky :)
I'm married and my wife is pregnant. Need I say more? LOL. In if you'll allow it with that. :P
Yep, they both count :)
In, and thank you for the giveaway!

I have two kids, and ever since the older one was born my own needs have been typically on the bottom of my (and my wife's) priority list.
I helped a few people kill an annoying boss in Warframe even though I didn't need the things it drops. Does that count?
Not in but +1! :P
Not in, but thanks for your generosity, both CymTyr (+1) and Rohan15!

Sure does! Any story of putting someone before yourself counts :)
I've helped my gf to study yesterday for a test, instead of playing Zafehouse diaries :)
I have a baby so my need for sleep is regularly taking a backseat these days :)

Thanks for the giveaway, the game looks really interesting!
On League of Legends I've ran back behind teammates who were almost dead to hopefully allow them to get away from attacking members of the other team, sometimes saving their life, sometimes losing my own in the process. Thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks, CymTyr! +1

Not entering. :)

Okay I am drawing the winner now!

And the winner, per Random.Org, is Bismarck!

Bismarck, I'm about to head out for some errands here shortly, but should be home in a few hours. Please add me on steam: cymtyr - I will get your gift to you ASAP. :)

EDIT: Just realized Bis registered April of this year.... If everyone's cool with it, I'll let it slide.
