It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

draeath: So... the gog.com installer seems insistent that I have Adobe Reader installed. I don't want it - there are better solutions available (not to mention I run the games under linux with wine). Is there a way to stop the installer from starting the Adobe installer every time I install a game?
Perhaps adding a checkbox for this prior to starting the install?
It just seems wierd to me that, with your DRM stance and all, you try to push some Adobe bloatware at us.

The vision has always been, let's make every as simple as possible. From account creation, to browsing the game catalogue, to making a purchase, downloading and finally installing.
We include PDFs (eg. manual :)) with each game and it would be very disappointing to the whole experience to find that you can't open a file as you don't have the software installed.
Foxit is more lightweight but it doesn't display all the PDFs we've tried, so that's why we went with the free-reader from Adobe, as the optional install.
As others have pointed out before me (thanks!), you can hit options and change almost everything.
Hi
As Adam mentioned and Weclock before him - you can always uncheck Adobe Reader in Option Menu.
Let me explain how installer works:
- checks if there is any software able to deal with PDF's
- if no, then in order to be able to read manuals and other provided by game pdf documents, installer allow you to install Adobe Reader
- you can always uncheck it in Options Menu
Hope that answers all your questions.
Best
