Lifthrasil: The XT was from the 286 generation btw. I believe (there were some nice games on it though). But I don't think the even older 8086 (86 for short) had any graphics support to speak of and so had hardly any games beyond text adventures. It basically was only an desktop-size pocket calculator. :-)
The initial issue had indeed a monochrome, text only, display. But most models featured an 8086/8088 CPU and a graphic adapter such as Hercules ( monochrome graphic adapter ) , CGA (4 colours) , EGA (1984, 16 colours) and even MCGA (1987,256 colours). The IBM PS2 mk30 for instance had either a 8086 or a 80826 and a MCGA adapterCormoran

I guess you're refering to a customized (barebone based ) laptop. There isn't much we can do with the reference in question as it refers to the item reference number in the seller's system. Is the barebone a MSI 16F3 ? If so, the RAm in question is probably clocked at 1600Mhz, but with a higher latency or with cheaper memory modules. The difference in performance is probably minimal . Even if it was 1333 Mhz memory module, that would mean much in terms of gameplay ( although in benchmarks you'd notice a difference )

s23021536: I remember I immediately tried to see whether Testdrive worked any better and took the Lamborgini for a spin.
Lifthrasil: I preferred the Jaguar. :-) The XT was from the 286 generation btw. I believe (there were some nice games on it though). My family's first PC aside from a Vic 20, was an IBM compatible 8088, that ran all of those games. Only down side was the monochrome monitor. :(
