Super Brothers have released some infographics on the sales of Sword & Sworcery EP.

This may be not quite so relevant, as it is not on GOG, but still I find these things fascinating, (yes, I am really looking forward to FYI:)) and it will be easier to search it here later.

There are some interesting things there, for example that 34% if all sales were through HiB 5, and 7% through Steam, while HiB accounts for 16% of total net revenue and Steam accounts for 19%. But mostly, maybe that 33% of units sold on iOS, and it also accounts for 55% of total revenue...

eidt - gah, GoG eat half the forum title... it should be "More sale infographics - this time of Sword & Sworcery EP"

And here's a link http://www.capybaragames.com/2013/07/a-sworcery-infographic/
sorry.... and I swear I put it in the OP also...
OK so most people bought it in a bundle because they didn't want to spend 'a lot' of money on buying it and a bundle is a relatively cheap and safe way to try games.
Which also accounts for the discrepancy between the revenue and the sales numbers, because people that bought it directly on Steam would've paid more money for it than the bundle people.
And it's a very simple game that works very well on a portable device.

At least that's how I'm reading those statistics.
super cheap will almost end up getting lot more sales.it will be similar for any game hib flogs.its their core marketing strategy....
