Hi so im from europe and I got cyberpunk recently on a nice sale in a local shop, it was a physical copy with a gog cd key inside.
Anyway the game works just fine, but i want to buy one more copy for a friend in the US but am uncertain whether he will be able to use it or not.
I know that gog is all about drm free gaming, but in the store they told me that the game is "for the eu market" and that "it can be played worldwide as long as it was activated on an *eu account*"
As far as i know gog has no regions, and doesn't even ask which country youre from when making an account but id like to hear from someone else who tried it maybe before buying myself.
Also if theres any way to "test" a key without using it that would also be great to know
tldr: are gog/cyberpunk cd keys ( from physical copies) region locked?
