It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I download GoG Galaxy 2.0 i click it, nothing happens...I run as administrator it asks "do you want to allow this app to make changes to your computer" i click yes, and nothing happens... I'm just left sitting at my desktop screen. I've restarted a few times already and re-installed it. I'm brand new to this platform, please help if you can.

Same here. A few months since I last loaded Gog Galaxy and it won't load at all. Have reinstalled to no avail.
First of all, you can use a web browser to log into gog.com and download the offline installers from your library. The only game that requires GOG Galaxy is Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, which is online-only multiplayer.

Secondly, open a support ticket if you haven't already. Zip up the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs folder and attach it to your ticket to speed things along. Getting a response from support can take quite a while, but they do get back to you eventually.

While you wait for a reply, you can try the following:
1. Uninstall GOG Galaxy from Control Panel/Settings app.
2. Manually delete the following folders afterwards, if they still exist. Only do this if you never managed to start it up, so you don't have any custom settings saved. If you don't have hidden files and folders displayed, you can paste the path into the File Explorer address bar, go up one folder, then delete the target folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy
3. Install both vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Install GOG Galaxy using the latest full installer. The first link is for Mac and the second for Windows.

Edit: fixed typo.

Thank you! Installing both VC_redist has helped me!

These instructions worked for me(11.09.24). Thank you.
I've tried to reinstall it twice and that didn't help.
I bought 2 games for €19,98 in the time.
I need help to make it work.
What van I do?
Even trying to install the offline backup doesn't work to fix it.
My pc. has 16Gb RAM and has 1Tb of storage available.
It has windows 10 PRO x64.

Is there a chance to get my money back if It stops working a together?

It doesn't sound like you followed the steps in post 3. In any case, open a support ticket if you haven't already.

Your profile shows you've played Elite Force II for over 65 hours. They almost certainly won't grant you a refund.

As for Elite Force, it doesn't have achievements and its multiplayer is LAN-only. You might as well just launch the game directly from its installation folder without GOG Galaxy. You'll just miss out on game time tracking. If you purchased it less than 30 days ago, you can try asking for a refund if you really want.
Same here, GOG no longer works. Everything was fine yesterday and I kept delaying the update but I allowed it to finally update last night. Now this morning every time I try and go to launch Factorio the GOG client opens up with a crash reporter and then closes. :(
