It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hello, Since yesterday Gog won't open and I have deleted it and reinstalled it again but still doesn't open. I have even tried to run it as administrator but still same problem. My steam, Ubosoft connect, and Gamepass are working fine. My epic launcher is having problem as well but EA Now is opening when run it as administrator. Thanks for any help.
Hello,

1. Check if the quarantine section of your antivirus.
2. If there's nothing relevant there, install both vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe then restart your system.
3. If that doesn't help, open a support ticket. Tell the chatbot the issue is of type "other" twice. After you have a ticket number, zip up the C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\logs folder and attach it to your ticket.
So to be clear, you get the log in scrypt but it times out without connecting or just nothing happens at all?

If it tries to log in then your network is the issue... If nothing happens then it's a scrypt error

Nothing happens when I click on the Gog Galaxy Icon just the blue circle appears for 2 seconds and it disappears and that is all.

if the Galaxy client will not open then its a scrpyt issue... the fact other clients do means its not run time so installing those will not help this time;

we need details starting with the basics;
1. what os i.e, Windows 7, 10, 11 Mac or Linux
2 where is Galaxy installed i.e, NOT c program files
3 what actual build of Gaxaly did you install so like the current build is 2.0.61 which needs active internet to boot or and older 1.2 build that is happy to run in off line mode for people with shithouse internet

what hardware may help but you say EA app runs and that is a total shit app so you must at least have internet so its unlikey to be a hardware issue unless you set up a tunnel [vpn] incorrect

an actual error report would help [see image] if you have the time one of these failed to open that tells us if it was Ram, permissions or network so if Microsoft is installing updates then you know why the GPU control is currently off we could see it

It doesn't.

if you disable your network the Galaxy app will detect that and boot into "offline mode" as i assume you did there... try this;
open your browser and begin a download that taxes the system... a torrent perhaps, then try booting Galaxy and it will fail

see the app will detect that your network is on but without actual bandwidth it isn't smart enough to know what to do when it can't get a reply from their server in time

Network was on. It's the firewall that was blocking all connections.
No amount of downloads can eat up all my bandwidth, so I can't test that (and I don't see the relevance to this thread anyway).

the relevance is thats one way in which Galaxy will refuse to open i.e, if the user doesn't have enought bandwidth then it doesn't matter that all the files are in place but yes he said he doesn't get the log in popup so you are right and its not that this time
