Anybody with the same issue?

When I click on "Check for updates", the checking never ends. I had this problem with an older version of Galaxy, so I did a fresh install of the latest version (2.0.61), and cleaned all traces of previous verisions also in registry, but the issue persists.
Just checked and it still works for me.

I had this problem too it changes from version to version. My guess is, the GOG network service is not reliable enough.
I have this problem too. The "Checking for GOG Galaxy updates" notification just stays there for many minutes and doesn't do anything, until I click on "X" to close it.

I'm not sure if in the Changelog section it shows my current version. But I'm attaching a screenshot.

Click the cogwheel in the top left and choose Settings. The version is in the bottom left corner of the widow.

You can manually download the installer if you want the latest version, which is currently 2.0.62.26. Don't uninstall beforehand, and launch it while GOG Galaxy isn't running.

Thanks!
Apparently now, when checking again manually for updates, it worked and the software updated to the latest version. So maybe the stuckness is a temporary thing, from time to time.
