I really want to like GoG. I think the work they're doing making older games compatible is invaluable.
But this launcher is simply unacceptable for an online video game retailer.
Tried it out again today and it still has that two year old security vulnerability. How hard is it to have the program ask for permission before installing games? Not only that, there's no option to close the launcher out entirely when you hit close. It defaults to system tray and there's no way to change it.
Their only saving grace is that they offer you the game's installation files without having to use the launcher but that still doesn't excuse a bad launcher.
