Hey, I just purchased this game because I wanted to satisfy a craving for a D&D rpg, but this game lags horribly on Windows 10, even in compatibility mode. The clouds in the background of the menu even lag! It hovers around sub 5 fps in game and in the menu, I have no idea how to fix it.

Also, I'm not running any expansions or mods or anything, and I've tried going through all the graphical options in the menu, but nothing seems to work.

Works fine in Windows 10 on my 8 year old computer with a NVidia 8800 GPU.

I suspect your computer is using intel integrated GPU that doesn't work very well in many older games.

You are right, I do have the intel GPU. Is that something I can replace easily, or should I just use my older computer to run the game?

Depends what your have for a GPU on your older computer.

If the new one has a slot to accept graphics cards you could add a low end GPU card that will be better for gaming.
