Playing NW2 and i;m early on around the warehouse mission, but is it normal to need to rest after every incounted? my team gets absloluty blown away and i don't apper to be able to do much about it. Never had this much trouble with the orginal. I have the Sorccera with me but she only ever does anything useful if i command her and chooise what spells to use.. eveyone else is dead before i get a chance to blink.

Really tough game this one.
Unfortunately yes. After you've played it a few times, you don't have the rest as often as you're used to which spells are the most useful, and know your group pretty well. Most games these days though are designed to allow you to blow through all your firepower, and immediately recover it afterwards.

You need to give us more information. Are you playing the OC? What class are you and what level? What team are you talking about? Do you mean Arie when you said Sorccera, and what does that mean?

Well, generally speaking NWN2 is a very easy game, especially the Official campaign if you know the D&D rules. Mask of the Betrayer expansion was a lot harder for me. You definitely do not need to rest often in the OC.

If you are new to D&D 3.5 rules, you may want to choose a fighter class (I recommend druid). If you want to play an other class and have trouble, feel free to ask or search internet for help with that class. There are millions of sites about both NWN and NWN2 classes.
Well i got past that bit, i'm fighting orcs currently and not having any more issues.
Found a Bard and been helping the Dwarf with his clan stuff.

Nah i'm not really familer with the D&D rules,, i have played the video games, loveed thje orignal NW and it's expansions.
Well i'm half way through act 2 where you start rebuilding the keep.
Things have been fairly smooth. But i really buggered up by selecting 'Leadership' as it doesn't work in the OC.
I reason i slipped up is i thought the OC was called "storm of zehir" as that's written in big bold letter across the main menu lol stupid me for not checking first.

Oh well, Onwards

Glad you were able to come through the problems. Have fun!

Yeah, that is one of the surprisingly tough areas since the way it's laid out, you can sort of wander your way into being overwhelmed by multiple packs of bad guys who are designed to be met one at a time. There are a couple others like that in the game and one is particularly tough given their ability to sneak attack. I'll leave it at that since I'm not sure if you should have gotten that far yet.

i think the tick is to leave the party in a room and see if you can draw out some baddies to come to you, it also one of the reasons i have giving up taking the sorcerer with me as she just gets knocked down the moment she gets surrounded. at least with the Druid and Bard they can handle a bit of close combat with added spell benefits.
