I mean, it runs horrible and it doesn't really deliver on the graphics side.

It looks like a tweaked console port. The controls are better played with a 360 controller.

And now It's coming to 360. Seems to me like they kind of played me off with this support PC development BS. I usually wait to buy games, but I wanted to support PC developers because everyone kept telling me it's a PC game.

But this game is more suited for consoles. Feel cheated.

I don't regret a thing. Best damn RPG I've played in years. Looks beautiful on my crappy GPU. Local color and ambient sound is amazing. Score is amazing.Writing is amazing.

My only real regret is as a PC only gamer being associated with folks who believe that a gamer is ruined solely because the devs decided to port to console.

That's the load for me.

Your settings and systems? Sounds like you're either
a) running on a terrible system
b) are having hardware/driver problems
c) are blind Wouldn't know, too busy beating the game on insane with my mouse and keyboard PC game being ported to console, rather than console game being ported to PC (which is what nearly every single other company is doing) is now a bad thing? I don't see your point. They developed this game with the PC as the number 1 main focus.

I honestly couldn't care that they're porting to the xbawx. More money for CD Projekt and more people playing a great game. Win win tbh.

It's a console gamer ported to PC.

There is nothing to separate it as a PC game, even the UI is a clunky controller mess.

There are high res textures here and there, but even those are inconsistent.

The game also plays like a poorly optimized port.

Just WATCH IT run good and look good on the 360.

Yeah, I do the fact they went from "We are considering it" to "We will have a fully playable version at E3" is sketchy as hell. To be honest I think the 360 and PC version were made together, and they are only waiting to release the 360 version so the PC community doesn't think it is a port, and to increase profits by waiting until holidays to release it. Only my opinion though and I could be wrong.

None of that makes a whit of sense. Your bridge outside of Flotsam is in dire need of repair. Go home for the sake of your bridge.

It is a PC game..... maybe if your PC wasnt a pos, you would be able to actually run it and enjoy the beautiful graphics.

Classic style PC UIs are dead. Get over it. The key to survival is cross platform unless the name of your dev house is Blizzard.

It plays mostly good on my mouse and keyboard. The control lock glitch should be fixed with today's patch.

All DLC is free for all PC users, also addressed in today's patch.

I agree. I'm running it on low settings because of my 3 year old GPU, but it still looks awesome. Best looking game ever, if you ask me.

UI criticism is valid, though. I don't know if it's a consolized UI, because I know nothing about consoles and have no desire to, but there are definitely problems with the UI.

No they are not dead. Every PC game expect this one uses a proper UI. Even Torchlight made 2 different UI, one for the console and the other for PC.

Close enough. Seriously what the hell is the big deal? Please explain to this veteran of PC gaming why this is the end of the world. It's not like it's the Mass Effect 1 UI or anything. I'm not compelled to sit there and convert items into omni gel fro 15 mins after every fight so what is the big deal?

it's not perfect but it works. But oh nos, we don't have the 1990s style character doll to play dress up with Geralt so it's ruined. But only after we find out it's being ported. Sheesh.

ME1 UI was the worst I've ever seen. A typical PC game that is heavy on loot usually have a grid based UI. The console version because of the lack of the mouse has a scrolling inventory.

Look at WoW for example or even the first Witcher. You hit "I" and everything is quickly selectable and visible. You don't have to scroll down in different menues just to find that one item you need.
