ever since i upgraded to patch 1.3 i can no longer use the sign wheel with the controller (xbox360 one).
i can open the wheel but moving the stick doesnt allow me to highlight and select anything nor am i able to select "meditate".

with a mouse and keyboard it's possible. with patch 1.2 and before i didnt have this issue.
i played a clean installation of the game - meaning - i used to run the game WITH mods but i uninstalled the game completely, reinstalled it, updated it to 1.3 and had this issue.

what da eff?

any help?

Did you try uninstalling all mods you might be running, and see if it works as it should, then?

Standard procedure when you run across a problem in any game, is to remove any sort of user-made modifications you may have installed, and try again. In 95% of cases, severe issues like this that appear after updating the game, are caused by incompatible mods. If you have already done this - or didn't have any mods installed to begin with - please include that information in your query.

Alright, thank you. Just have to make sure there are no mods running that might be the reason, is all. :)

I'm hoping someone else who uses the controller can pop in and verify this - it wouldn't be the first time a game update resulted in other, completely new bugs to appear - but I can't check this myself because I simply don't have a controller to test it with. These users are bound to be pretty upset if this is more widespread, that's for sure... :/

I think you might still need to make sure you don't have mods left over. I know somebody on the Bio forums reinstalled and obviously still had some left that the uninstaller didn't remove. If you're sure all the files were completely removed, then I guess something else is going on, but that'd be kind of strange.

In specific, see if you have MOD_*.dzip or bettercombat.dzip (I think) in your CookedPC folder, or any .swf files in CookedPC/globals/gui (.swf files under the loadingscreens subdirectory is expected; you can leave those alone.)

Better yet if you posted what mods you had installed (or what .dzips are currently in your directory if you don't remember all of them).

Hehe... I suspected as much. Uninstalling the game doesn't automatically remove everything from the game's folder, and user-added content usually remain. I'm glad you solved it. :)
