If the patch says your game is invalid or the wrong version you will have to remove ALL mods from your "CookedPC" folder and remove ALL DLC from the Witcher2 folder, INCLUDING the new DLCs Hairdresser and one named Arena.
The last two are installed via the failed patch attempt.
