Okay, so I'm in Act II and I did the whole Kings Meet thing. Saskia ended up getting poisoned, and I got the 4 quests to get her antidote all fixed up.

Basically, I went and did a few of the quests, like I got the Immortelle plant from the catacombs, I attempted to do the Royal Blood quest, in which Stennis turned me down, and I also started the Finding Triss quest. Anyways, in the quests, it asks me to go see Phillipa, the sorceress. However, when I come up to her house, the guards are guarding it and I can't get in. I then attempted to do some of the other quests, like I went and found the Dun Banner standard, as well as the Magic Crystal for the Dream quests. But I just simply can't go any further (so it seems), because I can't get into her house to talk to her. Am I missing something? Thank you for any and all help that you guys can give me.

You're missing that you're visiting the wrong house. Philippa's house has no guards.

This mistake is disturbingly common.

It's because World of Warcraft gave us quest markers. The age of thinking for one's self is long gone. ;p

Philipa's house is in the same part of town as the blacksmith.There are steps leading to it.

Okay, Well that was very helpful Taleroth. Thank you very much for your input. And Revial, I actually am not one of those people that gets stuck in games often because of not thinking for myself. I am a pretty decent gamer. It's just that when the quest marker that says "Phillipa" is in a house, outside of which stands 2 guards that say "only Phillipa can enter", it is pretty misleading. Anyways, thanks alot guys.

If it helps, there were several dialogs telling you where Philippa was, if you were ignoring the quest markers. ;) We didn't all find her simply by accident. :p (Well, I don't think so anyways).

Yeah, I am actually a pretty quick reader so sometimes, when I think that the dialogue is less than important, I'll skim through it, just getting the gist of what's going on and who it's about. I'm sure I missed it somewhere. Anyways thanks..problem solved. On my way to finish my 4 quests that I started now. :p
