I installed and registred my game.
I installed the free dlc (troll...).
I read that there is a 1.01 patch to apply, but cant find how to patch the game: as far as I know the launcher should automatically patch a registred game or should be able to find the patch in the download section.
Can someone help me?

P.S.
Maybe the gog version is already updated?

That's a plus of more or less buying it directly from the devs(well same parent company) is immediate access to the latest version, now if they'd fix their network side stuff seeing as I cannot register/activate the game ATM.

(Claims my username is incorrect(it's not), and trying to have it send me a new pw results in "unknown email addr" or similar message, which is also incorrect as my copy of TW1 is registered to that addr... I even went so far as to dig up the register conf for TW1... grrr...)

Thanks I'll check, but I also decided to just send them an email and also included a copy of my TW1 registration confirmation email(minus CD key of course).

anybody knows how the gog version will be updated. or is the downloadversion the updated, newest version ? how can i see which version i play ? anybody knows ?

doesnt matter anymore ... found that the gog version is already the updated version !!!

i believe the launcher will download its own patches

Well, I went to my games under the Gog under my account and once you scroll down the optional downloads with The Witcher II you should be able to download patch 1.1. That is what I did but when I tried running the install for the patch I get an error saying that it was unable to install the patch. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to your "My Account" page and click on The Witcher 2. A list of all the items you have for download will be there, The patch is the last on the list.
