It's not what you think!

I am not gonna complain about CDPr failing to patch my pet issues! You are welcome to list them here, though. Have it out!

I actually want to praise CDPr for excellent support of their game.

My conflict is the desire to keep playing an awesome game, yet wanting to maximize my experience of fixes in blocking functionality during combat, player character responsiveness, and Geralt attacking more than one target during normal combat.

/sigh
Sorry, but I honestly didn't get what you mean. :D Are you afraid the battles will be getting too easy with the patch, which you wouldn't want, but you'd definitely want the other fixes? Therefore a dilemma of wanting it yet not wanting it? ^^

I'm pretty sure the part with the "multiple targets" is not an addition, just a fix of / a build on the already existing game mechanics. In the swordman tree there is an ability that lets you damage more then just one foe. That's what they probably mean.

And in my opinion quicker responses are always welcome. The game still suffers from input lag sometimes, which shouldn't really happen. So again they don't add something that makes the fights easiert but instead fixing something that made them more frustrating before.

I think he is debating if he should keep playing now, or wait until the patch to keep playing :D

I'm happy with my gameplay on 1.1 so I'm not updating until I see something more significant. I'd hate to break something that was previously working fine. That doesn't happen much but sometimes patches do that.

Been burned too.

However, CDPr has a great track record. I find the combat responsiveness lacking, so I do look forward to seeing how they managed to tweak it.

Yeah, like patch 1.1 broke a lot of things - and different things for different players. You seem to be happy with a patch that I for one got rid off again after I tried it. I can wait out reports of other players, simply because I cannot play at the moment. But if they fixed what they say the fixed, like better responses, this one might be a keeper. ;)
low rated
Now that this is a console game u can pretty much guarentee yourselves that the patches will make this game easier and more xbox friendly...

Console gamers need there games dumbd down for good reason..

No they don't, there are just some of them that bitch really loud about it.

I mean, Bayonetta is a MUCH harder game than TW2.
it's only one day. i haven't played since last week. waiting for resource editor tools before i start my third play through.
I'm kinda sad they didn't tweak the difficulty. I want a bit more of challenge in chapters 2 and 3.

I have steeled my resolve! (I did non-combat quest progression.)

That would take quite a bit of doin'. But give the modders a toolset and it will come pretty quick. I look forward to that.

One thing CDPr could do very easily would be to unlock Insanity without perma-death. It would disappoint the hardcore, but make an awful lot more people pretty happy. :P
(I kinda hope they don't do that, though. Even though I may never run the Perma-Death mode, it is cool that they include it.)

This is a great patch, especially for the balances made for the prologue. Now, if only the enemies later in the game were balanced to provided some more challenge...
Yeah, definitely hoping for major balance changes like others here in a future patch or patches. Hopefully the plan is to do that after getting the technical stuff out of the way first.

I seeee. :D Well not long until the patch arrives, should be coming today. If it would be next week or so I would totally understand your problem, but if CDPR keeps the ETA you don't have to wait that much longer. :)
