Ok patch 1.1 increases fps by a pretty good amount but it has introduced a really annoying stutter that happens whenever geralt is moving, it totally ruins the game and makes the fps increase worthless

Yeah it's a known issue: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witcher_2/slight_stutter_hitch_with_vsync_enabled I think there's another thread about it..disabling DOF may help?

Well, known to those of us suffering from it. I don't know if CDPR have acknowledged the problem or even plan to fix it.
