Gwydion777: What's the pussy footing for anyway? Any Muslim playing this game, can't be all that serious in their religion, can they now?

hanns.g: I think it was an are design issue. Not very immersive, if you happen to notice it. Not exactly the original fantasy setting type of element.

tyran37: "Geralt can attack more than one target during normal combat."

What exactly does this mean?

hanns.g: I am intrigued by this too. Let's go find out!
I think that has something to do with enemies that are not current targets do not receive damage if the get hit.

So does that mean the Whirl skill is redundant now?

nope. whirl makes the sweep area larger
Well that's nice. I let the launcher patch the game (had previously installed 1.1 from the file available through gog) but during patching it popped up an error message about failing patching (on EN/lang.dll) and now the game won't run. Oh well, atleast I still had the install files at hand so atleast I don't have to redownload those.

Whoohoo!!! I love this patch! Was wondering why I got the D'yaebl and not the Mahakam Rune Sihill. I got now! Better average damage, 2% instant kill in stead of 1 and three runeslots iso one... LOVELY to start off with ;-)
they have fixed the controller issue, but not in the main menu, CDPR must be thinking something along the lines of "doh...."

Buckethead: Well the patch downloads then just says ready to be installed. Ok good. Now how am I supposed to install it?
Actually took me a minute to figure it out: run the launcher as an administrator. The patcher should start up on its own!
Anyone else's game got screwed?
My randomized items droped to minimum values and my alchemist gloves just stoped giving extra ingredients.

And that's just from first 5 minutes of playing...

That wasn't in the patch notes...
So has anyone installed the patch already. How is it running?

Is the performance loss too great?

I have no doubts it's going to affect performance, my question is whether the fixes make the game more enjoyable than a few FPS.
