I know what it is supposed to so, but I just don't get any reason to play with it on, I have a high end PC, and can play with it on and still get good FPS, but the issue is it doesnt make the game look better or am i blind? If anything it seems to muddy textures, i actually think it looks better off, am I missing something?
Depends on the udder :-). Sorry, couldn't resist.

I actually found the same thing; have a high-end PC with enough hardware to run it, but it's visually indistinguishable to me without it. Besides, I'd rather have mirror smooth without than mostly smooth with.

LOL, I really suck at typing, but yeah, I find it actually makes it look worse, makes textures look blurry. For such a demanding setting not sure what the benefit is.
After installing patch 1.1 the game automatically turned Ubersampling on, unbeknownst to me. After playing all of Act 1 and part of 2 I was wondering why Geralt was drunk all the time.
I think ubersampling looks great but I don't have good enough hardware to justify the performance hit.
