If you play Ciri's plotline but don't stick to the regions in a linear fashion-the narrator ruins the story by telling you what happened in the previous region. For instance, it will spoil what you learn about Ciri in Velen, if you happen to visit Novigrad before finishing her quest(s) in Velen. The same will happen for other quests as well, to greater or lesser degrees. The narrator assumes a linear progression in an open world game. Too bad we can't turn off the narrator and just see a load screen that doesn't show spoilers.....
That's Dandelion for you. Never caring if anyone has actually heard his previous balads, but assuming that you have because he's friggin Dandelion!
Or instead of having the opening cut depending on your location, they should change it to your quest progress...
tell me about it, i sailed to novigrad first thing and i had no idea what he was talking about.

Absolutely. But not only that, his voice is about as annoying as any narrator I've ever heard, and bears no resemblance to the in-game Dandelion, older or not.
