Same here, I get 0.01% download then it fails, been trying since yesterday!

Okay I checked the FAQ. It says if the download Problem persists, you can try to download the Files.

Click on the Arrow (bottom right corner) on the Game-Icon and choose "Download Extras".
And now choose the game and patches. I just started the download and it is already at 2 %.

Much faster as the "Install-Download".

Hoped that helped anybody.

Same problem, game install from dvds, first patch i install from website, and 1.03 and 1.04 cant download.

Tried downloading the game via the 'More' tab in the Library, this started the download I'm almost finished now hope this works for more people.

Same. Tried to update my gog galaxy install via the manual patch from gog downloader links but that refuses to install saying it can't find the game (It's looking at non gog galaxy registry entries that aren't there).

Now I just get an instant 'server error' while trying to install 1.0.4 . Help please.

I've had nothing but problems trying to get this game installed. I'm really mad.

Me too thou I just upgraded to windows 8.1 and now it won't redownload the witcher. Turned off defender and firewalls and nothing it just doesn't want to download the game anymore
