Cant find Letho despite he should be alive and in a barn. Got the same choices as a friend of mine and he found Letho, so i travelled there too, but he was nowhere to be seen. Let him alive in Witcher 2 , and used this save file. Also did the quest with saving the mansion for this lady while there, like my friend. Any other ppl having problem with finding him? Is it a bug?

Pretty sure you need to go there on a specific quest for him to appear. I did it early game so don't know where I got it, but I definitely went there on a quest to clear a monster from the place for a woman who used to live there. So maybe a bulletin board quest, though I’M not sure about that..

He was there for me, it does have to be during the mansion quest I believe as it's part of Letho's dialog.

Well, I already found Letho, And here comes the spoiler guys:

To find Letho, you need to start the quest "Ghost from the past". You will be asked to clean a house from monsters for an old lady, just go to the mannor, and you will start to notice something strange. After a few minutes you will have a chance to complete a quest with you dear (friend?) Letho. If you find monsters in the area, something isn't right, because Letho should have cleaned the mannor already.

SRY guys didnt thought of it as a spoiler, cause i was sure letho will be somewhere ( he can be seen in the trailer of Witcher 3 ) . pls accept my apology ! I was furious cause my friend found him and i didnt.

Yeah im sure i used the right savefile, cause i only had one playthrough and there i let letho live.


When i got to the mansion there were some wraiths which i killed for the quest...
So its a bug or did i need a specific lvl for it or does any prequest cancel his appearing?

Sounds like a bug, when I got there there were no enemies, just Letho. He says that he killed the monsters in his dialogue, so there clearly should not be any enemies in your world state. Or did you kill them before getting the quest?

if the wraiths where there then letho is not alive on your game.
Did you get the quest before going to the mansion?

well i think i went after getting the quest but im not sure if i explored it sooner while running around. Would that change it? i hope not otherwise having letho there or not would be rather random.

I imported a save game (the autosave with the most recent date of any of the saves auto or otherwise), have the bad neck tattoo even, I left Letho alive: when I do the quest that suppose to lead to him it's just wraiths.
Though I think I did tell him at the end of The Witcher 2 that if I saw him again I would kill him and he said he was planning on getting as far away from the North as he could (if I'm remember correctly).

This is why I just killed the bastard. No bugs about him coming back from the dead.
