Hello *waves*

I'm playing with the thought of finally playing the BG series again and I'm quiet used of playing it modded. Seeing that many mods already exist for the enhanced edition again - love the modding community of this game! - I wondered about playing this version this time. (heard alot good about the new GUI and such).

Now I stumbled over the project for making the whole EE-version into a triology and wondering if anyone got experience with this new mod or if it's at the moment better to just mod BG1 and BG2 seperately and play like this?

Reason I ask is that the EET needs siege of dragonspear to be installed and so I wonder if I should buy it/wait for a sale to get the whole EET together instead of seperate games. (especially since the discussion around siege of dragonspear is... well "hard to read" explains it very well I guess, hehe)

So if anyone has any experience with the EET project and can tell me if it's worth it (or not), I would love to hear about it :)
FYI - Baldur's Gate Trilogy (http://www.spellholdstudios.net/ie/bgt) does the same thing for the classic version of the games (and obviously doesn't require Siege of Dragonspear).

The Enhanced Edition Trilogy does work very well too and is definitely worth checking out if you do get Siege of Dragonspear.
Thank you for the fast answer. :)

I know about BGT (have played with it before), just bought the enhanced editions in a sale a while ago and thought this time I should try actually using them, especially since most mods I used in BGT are avaible in the enhanced edition, too.

Actually was suprised that the EET project existed when I looked through the mods again which I want to install this time. Guess I have been away from playing BG quiet a while, hehe.

Guess I wait lil while longer and decide if I want to get Siege of Dragonspear and then use the EET. From what I read it does alot more than just making sure you can play the game through without changing games. (like bringing decisions, especially around your own party, you make in BG1 into BG2)
So the change between playing two modded games or using EET seems recognizable.
