How do i use Baldur`s Gate Game Editor (gatekeeper) for use with bg1 original?

The initial steps are: run the exe, then go to Settings and specify the path to your game folder. After that you can go to File and open your saves or character files. Then you can view and edit the characters' inventory, abilities, stats, etc.
