I've bought and downloaded BG2 from gog.com. The installation went smoothly but when I trie to play the game it force closes when I trie to equip the two-hand sword you find in the beginning to Minsc or tries to make Imoen carry the +1 dagger in her left hand. Anyone else who has encountered this or a similary problem or have any idea about how to solve it?

Just wanted to let anyone else who has the same problem know: I had this problem, I followed Kezardin's advice and it solved it. Thanks!
