Larian Studios, like CDPR has the benefit of the doubt for me. I knew I was going to buy this at launch for 60$ based on my enjoyment of DOS1 and 2, so this way I get to play it early.

Full price? Mate, it's worse than that! Present Value of $60 now is much bigger than the PV of $60 in 2025 (or whenever it is they are going for the full release).

That is the way Larian eveloped their games, feedback made a greater game , formula works, lots of people actually don't know this and think it's the only time they are doing this lmao.

The game store page is riddled with "in development" notices. Apparently, you didn't know that "in development" = "Early Access." That's been happening with many Gog and Steam games for literally years--not just with BG3.

Click on the ad at the top of the store page and it takes you to the game's store page...
