Hey all,

I've been recording my first ever attempt at a Let's Play series for my first BG 2 playthrough.

It's just occurred to me that there's an active user forum here, but I see no other threads about people's LPs or AARs. I'm just curious, is it against forum rules or something?

Not against the rules as afar as I know. I think it's just that no one's bothered to do it.

However, I do not know how to embed a picture into a post. A lot of people who do AAR's will post pictures from their game. In Baldur's Gate, you can take a screen shot with the Print Screen button. If you are using Windows 7, then I can tell you where to find your screen shot.

What kind of character are you playing?

You can't. You can only link them at the bottom of your post.

^^That is what I thought. So your AAR will be all text and pictures, if you have them, will just have to be separate links to a different host.

I thought about doing an AAR with my boring fighter and see what kind of reception it gets, but you asked about the idea first! My time for playing tends to be about an hour or two in a day, so I break up the adventure accordingly. Instead I will just play a little bit and ask for advice on how to play a little better.

So my opinion is go ahead! I will read it.

Oh actually for BG 2 I've been recording a Let's Play series (as in video series on Youtube).

I guess I'll create a thread to advertise it. I'm surprised nobody else has tried it... oh well I'll find out if it's against the rules depending on if a admin takes it down I guess :D
