In my second playthrough, i am planning to keep, romance and alignment change Viconia. I had one berserker cleric during my previous, multiplayer run (with half party of my own creation), and i noticed certain things about them. When the cleric is one of the three neutral alignments (Helm holy symbol), he gets to learn ALL cleric spells that are tied by alignment, such as holy/unholy word, unholy blight etc. Viconia though starts as evil (which means she is going to initially get all cleric spells MINUS the good alignment ones, such as Holy Word). Yet, when romanced, when it ToB and when talked properly into it, she changes into Neutral Alignment.

You people, all you who kept her, changed her alignment and continued to keep her in the party, can you tell for certain whether she gets all cleric spells upon becoming neutral, or not? And whether this happens too if she is already at max level, or not?

Please, answer truthfully, validly and with certainty. I want to be certain about her, because this is going to save me the time and effort of raising one extra team member besides her.
There is only one action that takes place when the 'correct' answers have been given to Viconia. At the point where she asks you if you see her as capable of change, and in your responses you reply 'I would like to see that', she will then respond with:

"Then... then I will try. I will try to be a better person, <CHARNAME>. For you. Let us... let us move onwards before I change my mind.”

The result script then sets;

ChangeAlignment("Viconia", NEUTRAL)

There are no other variables set (for later parsing), and no other changes. That's it. She will loose her ability to wear the Symbol of Talos at that point, now being of Neutral alignment. No spell changes take place, unless this is handled automatically by the engine at level up.

Damn! I have to raise again a well developed, chaotic neutral, berserker-cleric then, besides Romance character, as it seems... Grrr. Not counting main and 2 more handmade characters, of course.

I don't know if this helps, but when I SK Viccy to a Neutral alignment with regards to the Good/Evil axis, and then level her up, she has access to both versions of alignment based spells, i.e. Holy Smite AND Unholy Blight, Holy AND Unholy Word, etc.

Man, you are a timesaver! I ain't touching the stuff (editor), never did/never will, but i am going to romance her and change her myself. This is grand! Only 1 level up and she is ready to go, after becoming neutral. Imoen has to stay too, she is the obligatory burden (after all she revives Sarevok for me plus she is our sister), Sarevok who is badass, and 3 characters of my own creation, not needing/not worrying about selfmade cleric! Thinking or repeating Berserker Mage (my previous main was sick and overpowered when maxed), getting a berserker druid, and this time for thief, i am between kensai/thief, berserker/thief (again), or wizard slayer/thief. I would put kensai no brainer, but alas, despite being able to use short and crossbow after dual, longbow remains forever lost to him (mana +4 from 2 was super, or taralash +5).

Well, we all have our quirks. Myself, I have never used the CLUAConsole, but it seems quite popular with lot's of folks.

I find SK a great time saver and an easy means to "fix" things I don't like. For example, if I take an NPC, stock or mod, and like them, except for their weapon proficiency choices, I can easily remedy that and enjoy them and the game more.

Or if I've played a certain Class Stronghold quest many, many times, I'm quite happy to advance the in-game time to trigger the events of the Stronghold faster, so that I can get off to Spellhold faster. Resting at an Inn, or the wilderness, for days on end, to get an event to occur, that I know is coming after x amount of days is, for me, just tedium and not conducive to enjoying the game.

Different strokes for different folks, of course! :)

Well, CLUAConsole is out of limits too (for me). Regardless, since you mentioned strongholds... The d'Arnise keep collects money! In my last playthrough, i did not find out how to collect them, or to whom talk, in order to raise/lower taxes! Do you know? Can you share this small piece of info, please?

Finally, some people claim that it is impossible to claim more than one stronghold for your main character, even if he has more than 1 class. They are wrong; in last playthrough, i got both the keep and the planar sphere! I do not know about multiclasses, though, i had been dual.

You pick up your money from upstairs where you found the keep key & fought the Yuan-Ti mage & the Giant troll.
You raise or lower taxes by talking to the bloke who runs the place, in the middle of the big room in the centre of the ground floor.

Thanks a lot, pal!
Given the potential for significantly negative consequences after raising taxes, I wouldn't recommend it. The relatively small short-term gain is not worth the very real chance of financial loss over the long term. IMHO of course...
Just to be clear here, once you turn Viconia away from the dark side she can no longer control un-dead with her 'Turn' and will start to pop them instead.

Perfect. Priests can summon undead (as well as mages), no need to control existing ones (plus there is high level mage spell, control undead).
Yes that’s true and if your Cleric is evil then they won't get blown up by her 'Turn' ability… any Un-dead the enemy Clerics/ Mages summon to the battle will join your side, ignoring the summoning limits but IMO the best fun is when Vampires get recruited to your cause because they are not a race that the player normally has access to the enemy doesn't tend to have a prescripted counter for them.
