Hi everyone

I just downloaded SoD and tried installing it.

It gives the message: "This version of the base game is not supported. Please update your game version with the latest patch."

So what patch is it referring to? There is no patch on the download site for GOG where I download SoD?

If it is referring to the base game BGEE - that was installed a few months ago so does it want me to reinstall the base game?

so to be clear, you used the off line installer to put your base BG1EE game on the system?

1 i'll cover the easy option first, less assume you used Galaxy [see images 1, 2 &3]
if you have the correct settings try restarting your system as sometimes when you first grab a dlc it takes Gog server a while to wake up and notice you have that new download

2 if you use an outside copy of the game from say Beamdog, Steam or you have mods installed of any kind then you are fucked because dlc will only go over a matching base game i.e, Galaxy to Galaxy or off line to off line

3 if you used off line installers [which i assume] then the patch notes don't match now so your options are;
uninstall the base game and then reinstall with the new off line installer / Galaxy or look for a new update patch [see image 4]
