Well after a good wile of thinking about it , i decided to give the weidu baldurs gate trilogi i think a try , because it was the only one that would let me play my game in spanish aparently , i wanted to try the npc mod mostly and after a wile with it i found myself that i was not having as much fun as i had hoped for , maibe i just like to much the way baldurs gate was made because the camera is closer to the chars and the design of the chars and things are diferent then in bg2 , that was a huge set back for me but then i keep playing to try the npc mod , for some reason some of the quests was a bit bugged like the guy that never stops talking in nashkel but if you are patient in the end give you some xp , well with the mod in the end minsc got mad at him and the guy run away without giving me xp so that was a pain but pretty fun to see minsc mad , anyways i supose that is not a bug but was intentionally made that way , Imoen was a pain in the ass most of the time for me , i enjoyed a lot to be able to see jaheira and khalid having some talks because i for one im found of khalid even if she has the pants in the relationship :P , well anyways i found myself uninstaling the game again , instaling original without the mod because i just remember that i had no music in baldurs gate 1 with weidu because aparently it was to hard for the creator to have all together , but for me playing with no music wile im exploring all those map -.- , well i am glad that some people enjoy the mod and it improves theyr gaming expirience but for me ill stick with vanilla game any day specially after having given it a try :)

Have you looked on the Spellhold Studios site, where BGT is hosted? You may have some answers there. And don't be afraid to post the contents of your wiedu.log file. It's crucial for sorting out the kind of problems you appear to be having. I've played BGT, though a long time ago, and yes, you need to install the music from a separate BGT mod.

WeiDU, by the way, is a utility program that allows patching, altering and adding content to the five Infinity Engine games (BG1 & 2, IWD 1&2 and PS:T). It also allows multiple mods to be played together. That is why the weidu, log file is so important. It gives those in the know a chance to find compatibility issues.
Hi there and thanks for answering but my main problem really is that it basically makes bg 1 into bg 2 , and to be honest i like number 1 a lot more in the visual aspect , the chars are made diferently and better to my opinion :) , i read in a spanish web about the music problem after i had installed everything and understud that i would need to start over i think , took me allready about 3 installs to get it right because i was having problems with the spanish voices in the installation , to be honest is just way to much hustle and i just tried it cause i didint find a npc mod that would work without the weidu or tutu or any of that kind , wile it was a fun mod to have i just could not get passed that it changed the game and those things that i loved about it , about the weidu log i have allready deleted all that :P So for one that like bg2 more then bg1 its a great mod cause it brings the kits , walking speed and everything but for me i settle with my bg1 stile even if it might sound like a weird choice :)
There are many people around who prefer the BG1 character art to that of the sequel. You have options in that area, there are mods out there that change the character art in BG2 (or BGT or Tutu) back to the original. Take a look through the "1pp" mods hosted on the Spell Hold Studios website, specifically the Avatar fixes here:

Hei thanks for that link Adamzs i will have to take a better look at it as soon as i finish bg1 again , just started a few days ago a new game :) thing is tough , is that mod for normal bg or must be weidu and such ?

Edit : just had a look about the forum and is indeed a weidu based mod , had a feeling it would , well thanks anyways for the link but ill just stick with vanilla and enjoy , atleast there is party banter and romances in bg2 so not all bad :)

Sure thing. Although let me remind you that Weidu is not the equivalent of BGT (Baldur's Gate Trilogy). Weidu is the name of the mod framework that allows players of Infinity Engine games (e.g. Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment) to apply mods to these games reliably without too much hassle.

In this sense, Weidu-based means that the mod is easy to install and reliable in terms of compatibility with other mods, not that it requires BGT to run. The Avatar Fixes mod I've linked above works on any Baldur's Gate II installs, including the vanilla BG2, BGT, and EasyTutu.
@Carmelo2683 - You could, for example, be playing BG1 (vanilla) with mods such as BG1 Tweak Pack (to remove many little annoyances), BG1 Mini Quests & Encounters, BG1 Unfinished Business, the Widescreen mod, and so on. These are all "Weidu" -based mods that work without BGT or Tutu. Read the sticky thread on this forum for places to start - "A Conservative Mod Guide to BG1"

(You can probably safely install these if you have only recently started a new game, with everything working, but I'm not 100% sure. Starting fresh is often recommended)
@Anamorphic - thanks for the tip , i tried time ago to install the unfinished business mod but could not get it to install so i tought i would need weidu or eather i was doin it wrong just a question about it , would they be compatible with a spanish game ? been playing so long in spanish that first time i heard the voices in original it felt to weird :P if its better to start new games with some then ill just try the widescreen that should not conflic :)
No idea, sorry. You'd have to look at the "readme" files (the version history section usually mentions translations) or ask in the specific mod forums.
ive just tried the widescreen mod and wile it work in a way :P i have to find the right resolution for my screen , wile i used BGT npc mod it was translated so ill have a look in the same spanish web site and see if they have translations , wile i didint enjoy playin with the bg2 engine on the first , the npc banter was a nice thing to have .
