I finally got around to playing SoD and I was wondering when I would be coming across this line from the character Mizhena. We all know the discussions it caused, a lot of fuss about nothing. I mean, if there is one line in that expansion that seems a bit on the nose, so what.

So I was certain that I would immediately notice it once I came across that character. Only, it never happened. The whole dialogue option of asking about the name did not show up.

Not that I mind, but I am a bit surprised. Was it removed after all?

no you have to ask her a lot of questions before she will tell you that line... it was still in my last play through and yes its all bullshit drama from people with other agendas

Ask her about her name and she goes into it. It's completely inconsequential and has no bearing on anything else in the story. It's unnecessary, but it's not the game-ruining line some idiots made it out to be.

Yeah, you have to query her about her name before she tells you her story. A whole lot of fuss about nothing, if you ask me. I mean, we're in a world where orc raiders or drow slavers could attack your village at any time, where vampires, illithids and literal demons could take control of your very mind, where wizards can transform themselves into oozes, golems and dragons (and dragons can literally mate with anything under the sun and produce offspring) and people draw the line at "person was born a male, wanted to be female, made it happen"?? It's like, "Dude, there are WAAAAAY crazier things going on in your world every day."
