I cant find the parts for creating a mallet i found 1 peace the stick but i have seem to lost it.

Are you playing the original BG 1 or are you using BGT or EasyTuTu? With the latter options you can use Tab to highlight all items on the screen, which makes things more convenient.

If you've found it and lost it, rather than scurrying around trying to find it, you could also use ShadowKeeper and just drop it into your inventory. A cheat, but since you already found it once, not too big of a cheat!
