Hi guys, I've downloaded the offline 1.04 patch due to GOG taking too slow in downloading and taking up high of my disk usage (often times gets stuck at 57-60%). I've got both the bin and exe files, but I do not know how to apply it.

I've tried putting it on the game directory, also in archive\pc\content, which gives me an error that says:
"This patch does not support your version of the game please download a new installer."

If anyone could assist me it would be well much appreciated.

You don't need to place it inside the game's directory, simply run the exe and it should find your CP installation.

got it where the freebies are located. link's here https://www.gog.com/account then click on Cyberpunk 2077 then scroll at the bottom

Can't mix offline install and Galaxy install. You need to apply the right update.

And yes, the update WILL take a long time depending on your harddrive because it modifies almost the whole game. Using an SSD takes much less time. Mine with an old 5200 took about 4 hour.

Well, i have a SSD and i'ts about to hit the 4 hour mark

and i started with 57%, stuck at 91% for about an hour now

life is good

FYI-For me I started yesterday at 4:30 pm, and at 11pm it was stuck at 92%, this morning at 7am it was still stuck at 92% and no activity could be seen on the hard drive it was installed to. I stopped the instal and am reinstalling th hotfix. I have up to 6M ADSL, so re-installing the entire game is a last resort for me. Thats what some of the other threads are reccomending.

I have the same issue. Patch will not apply, errors on all fronts.
I do not use Galaxy but the offline installers. Patch 1.04 is not installing.

Error modifying C:\games\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\content\basegame_3_nightcity.archive

Edit: Disc space is not an issue btw. Admin installation, shutting down Anti virus active protection and removing the files' write-protection don't work btw. Will try to put the game on a different drive, but I don't hold my breath.

Edit 2: Reinstalling on another drive and then giving that update a *lot* of time worked. :)

Must be something with your hardware, I'm also on SSD and it took me around 15min to install 1.04. My install was also "stuck" on 57% though, probably that's when the biggest archive is being patched. I'm guessing you don't have a lot of free space on that partition and the installer had to waste a lot of time swapping things around due to space constraints.

For me it helped to install the game on "C:\Cyberpunk 2077". For some reason the update installed flawless after that.

Go to your library. Click on the Cyberpunk 2077 icon. Scroll down to the bottom of the game installer downloads and you'll see a few that say Patch. Download those.
