It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Anyone have any idea why a mod would suddenly stop working, from a state it was working? Like it was literally one day it worked, the next it didn't.

It's also important to note that I did not add or remove any other mod.
The game could be patched so object paths or data sets are changed, or there could be a script error or conflict in the mod code somewhere.

Make sure to have the correct version of any required mod frameworks installed.

I suspect this could be the issue, I never got the last game patch as the way patching this game it takes as long as it takes to download the whole game itself, so I avoided it, and just kept mods the way they were with the current game version. But something must've slipped in somewhere, changed something.

So I bit the bullet and started the latest game patch. Which means updating CET but that's nothing. Anyway I'll see how it goes, still must have an hour to go on the update. Hopefully that sets it right. Thanks.
Remember there are many other mod frameworks in addition to CET. Depending on the sort of mods you use, you may need several of them.

And this is precisely why I manually download all the patches as they are released, and keep them stored locally. I don't even have GoG Galaxy installed, because I don't trust that not to screw something up.

I also make a copy of the whole game folder before I apply any patches, because my install of CP77 is so modded, I probably wouldn't get it back up and running if something went wrong, like any unsupported mod frameworks.

Am still only on patch 1.6, and I would probably still be on 1.5 if it weren't for the 1.6 exclusive flying cars mod that I just "had to have". ^^

That's good advice. I have Galaxy, but I wish I never bothered honestly :) Updating is a mess. It asks if I want to update, I click yes, it gets to about 13% and just stops lol, even the GoG tech guys can't figure it out. You....well, I have to anyway, download the program itself from GoG and install/update it that way. It has NEVER worked properly. Updating it can be ignored for a long time, but eventually it'll reach a point where it will not start at all without updating. /rant

Yeah, stay away from it.
